Villa Rom Trai is an Asian influenced four bedroom contemporary holiday home with a striking design that cascades down a gentle hillside to the water’s edge in Kamala. A large, flower-filler garden and two pools make Villa Rom Trai stand out from the crowd at Samsara Phuket. Nestled in lush gardens at the edge of the headland, Rom Trai gives you luxury living over two sophisticated levels, with a lap pool by the ocean and an internal elevator for easy accessibility.

Guests can take an internal lift, which connects three of the main levels. Inside the villa, a spacious dining area, double-height atrium, and a fully fitted kitchen hidden off to one side. 4 generously appointed bedrooms all come furnished with king-sized beds. Two of the larger bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms and sprawling private terraces, an ideal spot from which to ponder nature’s wonders. An additional two levels of communal space provide guests at Villa Rom Trai with yet more places to mingle and enjoy the private facilities. Expansive, lawned terraces are ideal for sunset while the second swimming pool measures 20 meters and is therefore well suited to swimming laps.

Rom Trai is characterized by elegantly furnished interiors, with vibrant contemporary paintings by local artists, oriental rugs and tasteful Thai accents. Upstairs, you’ll find expansive living areas bathed in natural light, with double-height cathedral ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that capitalize on the views. There’s also a spacious dining area, full Western kitchen and quiet, fully stocked library where you can escape for hours with a holiday read.

Outside, Rom Trai opens up to vast terraces and a sparkling 12-meter infinity pool.  There’s space on the terrace for alfresco dining for the whole family, with sunloungers, a variety of outdoor seating and an inbuilt barbecue. All spaces showcase the villa’s incredible views – blue Andaman seas, glittering Patong and green, mountainous headland off in the distance.

Downstairs on the garden level, Rom Trai gives you 4 spacious bedrooms, each with their own terrace. The master bedroom has the largest – a wraparound balcony with an outdoor whirlpool tub and views over Nakalay Bay and Patong you can enjoy from the tub or the bed. From the terrace, a stairway leads down to the villa’s sloping garden, where you’ll find a 20-meter lap pool in the shade of palm trees. Perfect for the active guest, Rom Trai also includes a workout room with invigorating garden and ocean views, plus a sauna and steam room to keep you lithe and limber.

Rom Trai comes complete with a live-in chef and housekeeper, on hand to prepare delicious meals to order.
